Nosy Mangabe

Nosy Mangabe, formerly Nosy Marosy in Malagasy, hence its old name of Marosy Island, Marotte or Marose in French, formerly also called Aiguillon in this language, is an island in the Indian Ocean located along the north coast east of Madagascar, in the bay of Antongil, five kilometers south of Maroantsetra. It is part of the Masoala National Park, whose name comes from the peninsula of the same name to the west of which it is located.
